Preview: Deadpool #13 From Marvel Comics
By D. Goodman
Thanks to Marvel, we have a preview of Deadpool #13, the first ever four-part crossover in a single issue.
The crossover has long been a staple of comic books and Marvel Comics in particular. I can remember many a time I had to find the money to buy extra comics if I wanted to read an entire X-Men or Avengers event. It wasn’t always cheap, but it was usually a lot of fun.
So it should come as no surprise that the team behind Deadpool have decided to do a crossover of their own. With the movie being a huge hit and Wade Wilson’s profile never higher, it makes perfect sense.
This June, Deadpool will meet Daredevil and the team of Power Man and Iron Fist in a crossover for the ages. However, you just knew if Deadpool was going to do a crossover, he was going to do it in his own unique style, which is exactly what is going to happen in Deadpool #13.
For the first time ever, the entire crossover will happen in the pages of a single comic.

Yes, you read that right. Deadpool #13 will include two full issues of Deadpool in addition to an issue of Daredevil and an issue of Power Man and Iron Fist. Not only that, but writers David Walker and Charles Soule will be joining regular Deadpool writer Gerry Duggan for this unique event as well as artists Jacopo Camagni, Guillermo Sanna, Elmo Bondoc and Paco Diaz.
That is going to be one big comic.
From the Marvel press release:
"When Deadpool takes a gig protecting a banker who betrayed his nefarious cartel partners, they seek the help of ADA Matt Murdock, who calls in the assistance (and fists) of Luke Cage and Danny Rand! Things are going to get ugly. Get ready for a mega-violent, street-level, gut-busting, face-punching, kung-fuing, ninjitsuing crime story you won’t want to miss! It all goes down this June when DEADPOOL #13 explodes into comic shops everywhere!"
Deadpool #13 will also feature the much talked about 1-in-52 Rebirth variant cover that will parody the recent DC Rebirth announcement. With art by David Nakayama it should prove to be quite the collectors item, if you can find one.
Deadpool #13 goes on sale June 6, 2016 and will feature a cover by Franciso Herrera and variant covers by Rob Liefeld, Ron Lim, Chris Stevens, Khoi Pham, Brent Schoonover, John Tyler Christopher in addition to Nakayama.
