Suicide Squad Prequel Comic Features Joker & Harley
This Suicide Squad prequel comic can apparently be found in certain boxes of Splat hair dye
Suicide Squad is just a little over two months away! But if you need a fix before then, how about a Suicide Squad prequel comic featuring Jared Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn? You can apparently find them in specially marked boxes of “Splat” hair dye, but I don’t really have any details on which colors might specifically have them, the comic was just posted on this “Mad Love” Tumblr, The comic seems to go back and forth between the time of the actual Suicide Squad movie, since it shows Harley Quinn in Belle Reve Prison and talking to Amanda Waller, but also shows her with The Joker prior to that time. In the comic, you can definitely get a sense of what Jared Leto’s portrayal of The Clown Prince Of Crime will be like in the actual Suicide Squad film. He’s definitely still a psychopath with a rather twisted sense of humor, who seems very willing and able to snap at any little thing. But he’s also much more of a traditional gangster, caring about things like his turf and usual more traditional intimidation tactics. Check out the pages of the Suicide Squad prequel comic below:

I can definitely get with this take on Joker. It’s different from ones before it, yet still seems to evoke a psychotic and terrifying individual that still captures the essence of the character. Anyone expecting another Hamill or Leto or even Nicholson (not that Nicholson was bad he just basically played himself) was never going to be pleased with a new take anyways. We’ll see if this version matches what we see on the big screen when Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5th.
