Justice League: New Batmobile Is More Lethal

Batman has a new Batmobile with more armaments than the last one

The Batmobile may have been a pretty cool-looking car in Batman v Superman, but it was quickly trashed by Superman. So of course for Justice League, Batman has built a brand new Batmobile, but one that fans who aren’t fans of Batman’s lethal methods won’t like.

This newest Batmobile for the upcoming Justice League film was actually shown of on the TV Show Jay Leno’s Garage, which features the comedian/former late night talk show host talking about his biggest obsession, as Jay Leno has a massive collection of cars himself. In the clip below, you get a pretty detailed look at the new Batmobile that will be featured in Justice League:

Granted, it mostly looks the same, except with a few important additions. The Batmobile now has machine guns mounted on the front and sides of it, in addition to some canons as well as a missile launcher.

So Justice League might be a lighter movie than Batman v Superman, and Batman even might crack a smile or a joke here or there, but anyone who thinks they were getting away from Batman being a lethal killer is obviously mistaken. And obviously some people don’t really have a problem with that, as Batman was one of the generally well-received parts of Batman v Superman. but Batman being someone who straight up murdered guys, occasionally with guns, is something a lot of people had a huge problem with. And it seems like this shows no real signs of stopping. I don’t even know how much use the Batmobile will get in Justice League (maybe it will just be trashed yet again, seems somewhat likely), but you can bet this will be another element that is very divisive about this already divisive DC movie universe. Justice League is currently filming and is set to open in theaters November 17th, 2017.
