New Gotham City Breakout Clip!

Batman has some of the deadliest foes in the DC Universe, but surely they shouldn’t be a problem for the combined might of The Justice League right? Well, not as easy as they think it would be, and we find that out in Justice League: Gotham City Breakout. In Justice League: Gotham City Breakout, Robin and Batgirl take Batman on a vacation of sorts to visit one of his former mentors and The Justice League is left to watch Gotham City while they are away. Should be easy right? I mean it’s several other superheroes that are all more powerful than Batman, surely they can handle this! Of course that’s not the case at all.

This following clip from Justice League: Gotham City Breakout doesn’t have anything to do with any of what I just mentioned though. In fact, it seems to just be the opening minute of the film. But it has some funny bits so check it out anyways:

These Lego Batman movies thankfully usually put forth way more effort than you would think goes into straight to video releases meant to sell toys to the under 10 set, and this is an idea that hasn’t been explored too often of how would other superheroes be able to deal with Batman’s rogues gallery, who they would almost certainly underestimate? I’m not saying it will be deeply explored in this film, but it’s a rather fresh idea that should be enjoyable to watch. Justice League: Gotham City Breakout is actually available for purchase on digital download right now, but will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on July 12th. You can most likely expect a review of the film on Caped Crusades sometime that week.
