Gotham City Breakout: Batman’s Mentor

Meet Batman’s mentor in this new clip from Gotham City Breakout!

Batman didn’t just decide to be the world’s greatest hero one day. He had to seek out some of the top mentors in the world and learn from them. And in this clip from Justice League: Gotham City Breakout, we get to meet one of them!

In the following clip we meet Madam Mantis, who is an original character created for this movie, and is arguably the person Batman learned the most from. And Madam Mantis may be old, but she hasn’t lost a step, and feels Batman has gone soft from that oh so easy city life he’s been enjoying. Check out the clip below, and whatever you do, don’t accept tea from Madam Mantis!

But Batman isn’t the only one Madam Mantis has trained. She’s also trained one of Batman’s deadliest foes, the assassin Deathstroke. And on this “vacation” Batman is taking in Gotham City Breakout, Batman, Batgirl and Robin are tracked down and attacked by Deathstroke & Bane. Some vacation. And of course while all this is going on the Justice League is watching over Gotham, and doing a really terrible job as Joker tricked Superman into accidentally busting out pretty much every criminal out of Arkham Asylum.

I have a feeling Gotham City Breakout basically goes like one of those movies where the parents go away for a weekend and the kids let everything go to hell, and suddenly have to rush to fix everything and make it seem like nothing went wrong while they were gone. Justice League: Gotham City Breakout is available to purchase digitally now, but will be on Blu-Ray and DVD this Tuesday, July 12th. Look for our review later this week!
