Batman: The Animated Series Dice Game Announced
A new dice game based on Batman: The Animated Series is coming courtesy of Steve Jackson Games and Cryptozoic Entertaiment
Sure there are board games, and those have a strong dedicated following, but a little more niche than that are dice games, where you usually just roll dice and special rules apply. They don’t take nearly as much setup as complex board games and for better or worse can end a lot quicker too as they are based much more on luck than skill. While their are plenty of original dice games, licensed ones are nothing new, and Steve Jackson games has teamed up with Cryptozoic Entertainment to announce a new dice game based on one of the best and most popular animated shows of all time, Batman: The Animated Series!
Titled, Batman: The Animated Series Dice Game, in this game, instead of playing Batman or any of his allies, you take on the role of some of the worst criminals in Gotham! That’s right, Batman: The Animated Series Dice Game lets you play as Poison Ivy, Catwoman, The Riddler or The Joker. Your goal is to get away with the most loot while getting away from Batman as well. Each character has special abilities that will help them against Batman to add a twist to your traditional dice game.
Batman: The Animated Series Dice Game will be out in November, with an MSRP of $14.95. If you like Batman and dice games, this seems like a real no-brainer, and with it being out in November, also a good possibility for a Christmas gift for any Batman fans in your family that you can actually potentially enjoy along with them instead of say a book or video game they go off to play by themselves.
