First Trailer For Telltale’s Batman!

First real footage of Telltale’s Batman game that is coming our way next month!

Telltale has been agonizingly slow on putting out details of their brand new Batman game series that is coming our way next month. If you remember, they debuted an incredibly short teaser for the game last year. Then they had a whole panel about it at this year’s SXSW where they merely talked about the game and didn’t show anything. Then at E3 we thought we’d finally get a trailer, but nope just some screen shots, even though the game was playable on the show floor.

Well now, today, finally we have our first trailer for Telltale’s Batman. In case you haven’t closely been following, like most other Telltale games this will be an episodic series consisting of 5 episodes, the first of which will be releasing next month. Check out the trailer below:

Next: Telltale's Batman In August

So we have an official release date for the first episode of Telltale’s Batman and it’s in less than two weeks! It looks pretty good, but that’s what trailers are supposed to do. I’m taking a slight leap here, but judging by the fact that the story seems to at least someone focus around Harvey Dent and ties to the mob, the first season of Telltale’s Batman will most likely focus on how Harvey Dent turned into Two-Face. That’s pure speculation but it seems to fit. They may are may not follow the classic origin of a mob boss throwing acid at Dent and it destroying half of his face.

Telltale’s Batman is also getting a physical release September 13th in a “season pass” edition, where you’ll get a disc with the first episode and you can download the others as they become available. Telltale’s Batman is releasing on nearly all platforms and we’ll be sure to play and review the first episode of the series ASAP.
