Suicide Squad: 8 New Movie Clips Debut
By Steve Lam
Warner Bros. has released eight new Suicide Squad clips showing some pivotal moments in the film.
Via ComicBook.com and JoBlo, we have eight Suicide Squad movie clips that have been released by Warner Bros. As the film’s premiere date gets closer, more videos and images are popping up every day. However—and I do have to commend the marketing team at Warner Bros.—audiences still do not know the film’s plot or storyline.

One of the clips that really caught my attention is the one where the Joker tells his victim that this is going to hurt the individual “really, really bad.” In the context of past trailers, audiences thought the Clown Prince of Crime was talking to a random victim. But now we know that he was talking to Harley Quinn—or should I say Dr. Harleen Quinzel since it looks like this takes place before her transformation to villainy. The scene also gives the DCEU’s explanation as to why Harley Quinn is infatuated with the Joker—she may have been tortured to the point of insanity.
Like I said, the marketing for Suicide Squad has been ingenious. This scene gives nothing away and only makes the viewer want to see it more. Check out the rest of the entertaining clips.

Suicide Squad—Official Synopsis: It feels good to be bad … Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
