Two New Killing Joke Clips!

Two new clips from The Killing Joke movie show Batgirl & Batman in action

The Killing Joke is already available on digital formats, but the Blu-Ray & DVD release is almost here for those of us who prefer a physical copy (or just want to rent it because we are probably only going to watch it once anyways). To promote that upcoming release of The Killing Joke, a couple of new clips have been released.

The first shows Batgirl trying to negotiate a little bit with a thug before Batman shows up, pretty ruthlessly hitting the dude with his car. Batman clearly feels that Barbara is taking the thug too lightly, but then also immediately proceeds to take control of the situation and shut her out as he wakes the thug with smelling salts and declares he needs some “alone time” with the thug to get info from him. The second clip is Batman looking for any info on the Joker, beating up more thugs to get something out of them. But apparently even though rounding up some henchmen is normal operating procedure for the Joker when he breaks out of Arkham, the thug swears nobody has seen the Joker this time. It’s a little unclear whether this is before or after Batgirl is shot and tortured by The Joker, but odds are it’s after. I have read the Killing Joke, but it’s been a LONG time so I don’t remember where this scene takes place:

Again, The Killing Joke movie is available now for digital download, but I am certainly waiting for the Blu-Ray/DVD release this Tuesday (basically because reviews have been kind of mixed), and you can expect a review up on Caped Crusades sometime that day as well.
