Fox Promo Shows New Gotham Footage

Check out new footage of Gotham season 3 in this Fox promo!

The third season of Gotham starts in just over a month, and Fox has been very good at giving us little teases. Brief clips of filming here and there, promo images with characters in the rain. But this new promo for Gotham and it’s really fun companion on Monday nights, Lucifer, gives us easily the most footage and info on the upcoming season of Gotham yet. Penguin of all people seems to be rallying the city of Gotham to find Fish Mooney (so it looks like Jada Pinkett Smith will have a much bigger role in season three than she did in the previous season). Fish herself seems to want to raise an army that like her, has special powers. Gordon still works with the GCPD but is not a cop. And Bruce Wayne is yet again seeming to commit to a course of action with no turning back. Check out the Fall trailer for Gotham and Luficer below:

So, this promo sort of looks like one of those fan made trailers where the splice together stuff to make it seem like a real movie, but it doesn’t work because the different footage doesn’t feature the characters from different movies/TV shows actually interacting with one another.

That being said, hey Gotham & Lucifer are both DC TV shows. Both on Fox. And even both on the same night. A crossover between the two could be a lot of fun. It certainly makes more sense than crossing over oh I don’t know, Bones & Sleepy Hollow. Man those two shows just do not complement each other. Lucifer certainly is more supernatural and fantastical than Gotham but Gotham likes to get so weird it might work. Season 3 of Gotham (and season two of Lucifer) premieres Monday, September 19th on Fox.
