New Injustice 2 Trailer Features Harley Quinn & Deadshot
New Injustice 2 trailer shows two not surprising returns
Gamescom is going on right now over in Europe. So a whole lot of news and new trailers are dropping. And while there isn’t really a specific Batman game on the horizon, Injustice 2 is coming our way next year. And that’s a title where Batman and his friends and enemies are heavily involved in. Case in point, a new trailer dropped early this morning (U.S. time anyways) featuring two returning favorites from the original game.
I’m sure the timing of the trailer wasn’t coincidental. Suicide Squad just recently hit theaters and this trailer features the two biggest stars of that movie, Harley Quinn and Deadshot. But they were in the first game. Well, Deadshot was in the mobile version of Injustice, this will be his first time on a console in the series. So it’s not like the developers are jumping on some bandwagon here. Anyways the takeaway from that is Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be in Injustice 2. Not super surprising or anything, but nice to be confirmed. Check out the new trailer below:
Harley Quinn looks like she’s going to be plenty of fun with some new tricks up her sleeve shown off in the trailer. I haven’t tried the mobile version of Injustice, as I’m sure most console players haven’t, so Deadshot might as well be a new addition to the roster. The roster reveals for Injustice 2 so far have been some pretty safe and obvious choices. I just would like to see a couple wildcards in there who can do some crazy stuff. Like Clayface or Plastic Man or Toyman. Injustice 2 is coming sometime next year (most likely April, that’s when Netherealm likes to drop fighting games) for Xbox One, PS4, iOS & Android.
