Injustice 2: New Footage Of Harley Quinn & More

DC’s best and worst are all set to collide once again in the upcoming video game Injustice 2. A couple months ago during E3, we saw our first footage of the game. Now European gaming expo Gamescom is going on. Injustice 2 has been making a showing there and it’s a pretty impressive one. Two new characters for the roster have been revealed, that being Harley Quinn & Deadshot.

And if you want to see some more Injustice 2 action, you are in luck. We have nearly 17 minutes of the game in action for your viewing pleasure/ Featuring Harley Quinn, Blue Beetle and more. While there are no big reveals in this footage, you do get to see Harley Quinn’s new tricks and more of what Blue Beetle and Gorilla Grodd fight like. There are two things I definitely noticed in this footage they help make me even more excited for the game.

The first is that the fighters actually use pre-fight dialogue that’s specific to their opponents. This is incredibly cool. I mean, some of it could apply to anybody. But Harley Quinn calls Blue Beetle “Bug Boy” and Wonder Woman specifically tells Grodd that his mind tricks won’t work on her. It’s a little thing but I love it. It makes me want to have everybody match up and see what they say.

The second thing is that while I was excited for Injustice 2 from the start, some of the character models looked incredibly rough. I was hoping that was just because the game was still pretty early. With this Gamescom showing that seems to be the case as I noticed a massive improvement in how the models looked. Check out new Injustice 2 footage below:
