More Details On Batman/TMNT Adventures

The Dark Knight & The Heroes In A Halfshell team up in the Big Apple In Batman/TMNT Adventures

Batman & The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are teaming up again, but getting a change in style and scenery in Batman/TMNT Adventures! In the first crossover comic (which just came out in a collection today, I bought that and am very excited to check it out) the Turtles traveled to Gotham in pursuit of the Foot Clan and Shredder. The Dark Knight helped the Turtles defeat their enemies on his home turf.

This time, Batman’s villains are somehow escaping Arkham and getting into New York City.  Check out the synopis for Batman/TMNT Adventures below:

In case you weren’t aware, Batman/TMNT Adventures features an entirely new team and art style from the previous crossover. The last one definitely had more of a traditional comic book look to it. This new crossover is done in the style of the animated TV shows both Batman and The Turtles have starred in.

That likely means there is no continuity between the two crossovers. Which is understandable. But that would be so cool of this was a continuation of sorts and things were at least referenced and characters were familiar with each other. Either way I am super excited for yet another crossover between these two franchises and I frankly I hope it continues to be at least a semi-regular thing. If you want a taste, once again, you can get the collected Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles right now, and then Batman/TMNT Adventures starts its six-issue run this November.
