Batman Day, the day officially celebrating one of the most iconic superheroes of all time, is this Saturday, September 17th. But Why not celebrate a little bit early with some Batman video games? If you don’t have any, there is an excellent Batman Day sale going on right now for both Sony and Microsoft consoles!

You can check out the Sony sales here and the Microsoft sales here. There are numerous Batman games on literally every platform so there’s probably something for any Batman fan out there. Admittedly, most of these are super popular games so you may have owned them already in some capacity, but in that case you can pick them up again cheap digitally! The only Batman game seemingly not in this sale is Telltale’s Batman, but seeing as that’s a brand new game, that’s fairly understandable.

While most of the games offered on this Batman Day sale are the same across the major platforms, there are a few unique sales on the Sony side I would like to highlight. Firstly, there is a PS4 version of Injustice: Gods Among Us while there is no Xbox One version, and that’s on sale for $10. If you want to get ready for the release of Injustice 2 next year by playing the original, this is a great deal.

Secondly, if you were thinking of pre-ordering the HD remaster Return to Arkham, during this sale on PS4 only it’s $5 less at $45. Not a fantastic discount but it’s something. Although given the delays and apparent issues that game has had even before release, you may want to wait for reviews on that one.

Finally, for me at least, the hidden gem of this sale might be Justice League Heroes for Vita/PSP for $5. I will not say it’s a fantastic game, but it’s a fun slightly lesser version of those great X-Men Legends/Marvel Ultimate Alliance games with your favorite Justice Leaguers. I would actually love to see someone do a big follow-up to this someday with a much larger roster and deeper references. Really I just want someone, somewhere to do a new Diablo-style game with comic book superheroes.
