Marvel Entertainment provided a preview to the upcoming Power Man and Iron Fist #10. The issue begins an all new story arc, “Harlem Burns,” as the title joins the publisher’s latest “Marvel NOW!” initiative. David Walker (Nighthawk, Shaft, Cyborg) writes, as Sanford Greene (Runaways, Uncanny Avengers) provides art and the regular cover. Lee Loughridge is the colorist. The story kicks off November 9th, with a final order cut-off date of Monday, October 17th.

In addition to Greene’s cover, there will be two other covers for the comic. Eric Canete (New Avengers: Luke Cage) is the artist for the standard variant cover. Mike Deodato (Invincible Iron Man) will do the “Divided We Stand” variant cover.

The Battle for Harlem Begins

The fan favorite buddy team of Luke Cage and Danny Rand, aka Power Man and Iron Fist, respectively, have reunited and are heroes for hire once again. However, the fall out from Civil War II has left the streets of Harlem vulnerable to those who would take advantage of them and the innocent people who occupy them. Now, the likes of Spider-Man’s Tombstone, Cottonmouth, Spider-Man’s Black Cat, Mariah Dillard, Mr. Fish, and Runaways‘ Alex Wilder are all bent on becoming the town’s top crime boss. And they do not care if, in the process, “Harlem Burns.”

The battle for Harlem begins in part one of “Harlem Burns” in Power Man and Iron Fist #10, on sale digitally and in comic shops on November 9th. The final order cut-off date for the issue is Monday, October 17th, so readers still have a chance to pre-order with their comics retailer. Pre-ordering helps keep titles viable, so do so if you can.
