Is John Cleese In Justice League?
Some activity on Twitter might indicate John Cleese is involved in Justice League or at least the DCEU
Ok bear with me here, because this might be a lot of nothing that means absolutely nothing. But people on the internet love both jumping to conclusions and wild theories. Especially when it involves a movie like Justice League, which is still wrapped in plenty of secrecy. So here goes.
Apparently there was some action on Twitter today that got a lot of people buzzing. Clay Enos, who is a photographer for DC movies, followed John Cleese. Of course that in itself means absolutely nothing. John Cleese is an amazingly talented comedian who’s been doing awesome work for decades.
But then the official Batman v Superman account followed Cleese as well. Then you add in that much of Justice League was filmed in London. It’s very plausible that John Cleese has a role in the film. It’s all speculation of course, but what fun speculation it is!

It’s also worth noting that Wonder Woman filmed in London as well, so it’s totally possible Cleese was filming a role in that movie. As far as Justice League, I think I remember hearing something about scientists disappearing/being captured as part of the plot, Cleese certainly could be one of those scientists or something. It’s hard to imagine him as a major character. They already have an Alfred. It would be funny if he was a recurring character in multiple DCEU films. Either the same character or maybe first showing up in Wonder Woman than being an identical descendant in other films. Of course he might not be in any of the films and this is all some weird coincidence. Wonder Woman opens June 2nd, 2017, followed by Justice League November 17th, I guess we’ll find out if Cleese is in either movie then.
