Lego Batman Movie Minifigs!

These Lego Batman Movie minifigs potentially reveal a lot about the movie….

We are less than 3 months away from the first big superhero movie of 2017! That’s right, the Lego Batman Movie! Of course it counts, it stars Batman! I am super looking forward to this film. And as should be expected of anything based on Legos, there are tons of sets and minifigs being released for the Lego Batman Movie.

The Lego Group has released what minifigs are coming out to tie in with the movie (no release date on the figs themselves, but most likely right around release). They all look pretty cool, but potentially are super spoilerific, so you have been warned.

The first thing you’ll notice is that there’s a wide variety of Batman minifigs where he is wearing different costumes. It’s been noted that the Lego Batman Movie will deal with pretty up every incarnation of Batman, so some of these, like Caveman Batman maybe referring to the very first Batman in history. That doesn’t explain why there is one minifig dressed up like a fairy, but that might also just be a throwaway joke or something.

The other thing is the villain minifigs. Of course you have Joker & Harley Quinn, but it also seems they threw a bunch of Batman’s sillier villains in. Catman isn’t necessarily silly but he is a little obscure. But villains like Orca, The Calculator and Zodiac Master are both obscure and silly. Check out the gallery below:

It looks like we are going to see many different sides of Batman and possibly get to know more about some of his most obscure villains (although some may be there just for a few sight gags). The Lego Batman Movie opens in theaters February 10th
