New Justice League Action Clips!

See Superman vs. Parasite and more in these new Justice League Action Clips!

Justice League Action premieres in less than a month on Cartoon Network, and I’m super excited to see the Justice League in animated form once again. And what better way to get hyped for the premiere than with some new footage!

The first video is actually a UK promo for Justice League Action. So when it says “premiering this Saturday!”, don’t pay attention to that. The U.S. premiere date is December 16th. I also find it super odd that a promo for the UK uses a very American-sounding voiceover. They probably didn’t want to pay an additional actor I guess. Anyways, the promo looks cool and contains plenty of new footage packed into about 30 seconds,  so check it out:

Then this next promo is from the premiere episode, titled “Shazam Slam”.  Here’s the synopsis:

"In “Shazam Slam,” the villainous Black Adam battles Batman on the Rock of Eternity and unleashes a horde of Djinn determined to turn the Earth back to its pre-human, volcanic state. Affected by the otherworldly powers of these primordial monsters, Batman becomes possessed and is turned into a giant flying Batmonster laying waste to the Hall of Justice, with only Superman capable of taking the fight to the Dark Knight. One by one, the Justice League – with the help of Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) and The Wizard (voiced by Carl Reiner) – must hunt down and defeat each Djinn in order to yet again save the world from destruction."

Now this clip doesn’t have any Batman or Shazam. It does have Superman taking on Parasite though, check it out:

Justice League Action premieres on Cartoon Network December 16th at 6 p.m. Eastern/Pacific before debuting in its normal Saturday slot (which is still not shown) on December 24th. It might not be as good as the old Justice League/Justice League Unlimited series, but it still looks like a lot of fun and I’m pretty excited for it.
