Suicide Squad: A Look At Harley Quinn Featurette
This Suicide Squad featurette goes into what makes Harley Quinn tick and why she’s so popular
Suicide Squad is out now on Digital HD, but we are less than two weeks away from the physical release of the movie on Blu-Ray and DVD. One of the standout performances of the film is certainly Margot Robbie as the first live-action big screen version of Harley Quinn. She even got nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award for the role.
So it’s only natural that of the many featurettes the come with the home edition of Suicide Squad, at least one would be focused on the former therapist, Mrs. Harleen Quinzel who gets infatuated with her patient, one Clown Prince Of Crime aka Mr. J aka The Joker and becomes one Harley Quinn.
This featurette has Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics and co-head of DC Films, David Ayer, Director of Suicide Squad, and the actress who played Harley Quinn, Margot Robbie all talking about the character and her personality and why she’s become one of the most popular comic book characters despite being relatively new. I mean most of the popular comic book characters have been around well over 50 years at this point, Harley Quinn’s been around about half that time. Check out the video below:

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn was easily the best part of Suicide Squad. I wouldn’t say that’s a super high bar but her performance was excellent nonetheless and I’m glad she’s super into the character and we’ll almost definitely be seeing more of her in future DCEU films. Suicide Squad: The Extended Cut is out on Digital HD right now and will be out on Blu-Ray and DVD December 13th. Look for our review of the extended cut around that time.
