Red Hood Coming To Injustice 2?
Red Hood may be joining the fight in Injustice 2
Injustice 2, was revealed just before this year’s E3, and was shown at San Diego Comic Con, but since then we haven’t seen much of the game. We know a few of the returning and new characters, we know about the gear system, but there’s still a ton we don’t know, including a large majority of the roster.
But one thing Ed Boon of Netherealm Studios, the game developer working on Injustice 2 has been doing has been running lots of polls. Mostly about who should be included in the game. None of these confirm anything official about the roster of course, but it definitely gives us an idea of who might be in the game. Some of these polls have been about guest characters, some about DC characters. One in particular involved several members of the Bat-family, and one person in particular came out on top:
As you can see, Jason Todd aka Red Hood overwhelmingly won the poll to be in Injustice 2 above Damien Wayne (the current Robin) or Dick Grayson aka Nightwing. Ed Boon also seemed to indicate that he really wanted Red Hood added to the game as well, giving Jason Todd a pretty solid chance of being part of the roster.

Now this doesn’t mean Nightwing and Robin won’t be part of the roster of Injustice 2, it could very well be a Bat-centric family affair. Of course the roster could also have none of these people, but that would be some pretty mean trolling on Ed Boon’s part. Red Hood definitely seems like a natural fit for the dark and brutal world that makes up the Injustice reality. Injustice 2 is currently in development and set for release sometime next year on Xbox One, PS4 & PC (and hopefully Switch?).
