Archie Comics’ revamp of their flagship series continues to be astonishingly good. Mark Waid continues his yeoman effort with the iconic redhead, with co-writer Lori Matsumoto coming in later on. Veronica Fish and Joe Eisma drew stories that included Reggie Mantle becoming the ultimate jerk, and Hiram Lodge’s election follies. Ending by splitting up Archie and Veronica across continents, it’s perfectly mingled teen romance with slapstick comedy all year long!
