Aside from a parody film and some cryptic behind-the-scenes videos, the production of Thor: Ragnarok has been pretty well-guarded. Fans have only gotten hints that the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film will have a storyline based on Planet Hulk.
Today, fans can get some of their Marvel appetites satiated because the studio has released the official synopsis for the film. We now know that Thor is in trouble and without Mjolnir. However, the most exciting thing is that we’re going to get a brawl (maybe I should say another, we can’t discount the one seen in The Avengers) between two of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel universe. Check it out:
"In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!"
