A preview of episode 13 of season 3 of Gotham, “Smile Like You Mean It”

Doesn’t anybody stay dead in Gotham?  Harvey Bullock doesn’t even know how right he is with that statement. We’ve already seen Fish Mooney come back from the dead, and that was really just the beginning. It turns out that somebody who was working at Indian Hill is the leader of a cult dedicated to the insanity of serial killer Jerome Valeska.

And that experience has lead to him to the goal of bringing Jerome back to life to wreak havoc on the city of Gotham all over again. Is it a spoiler at this point to say he succeeds? They’ve been teasing the return of Jerome since the show took a hiatus last November. Check out a synopsis and video preview for “Smile Like You Mean It”:

Of course, Jerome coming back is just one of several big plots unwinding. Nygma’s plan to destroy his former best friend Mayor Oswald Cobblepot is going swimmingly, and Maria Kyle’s past has come back to haunt her and is dragging both Selina and Bruce into the mess.
