Lots of New Injustice 2 Info Next Week!
Expect to get most of the details on Injustice 2 during a livestream next week
Injustice 2 is still several months away, but it’s in full press mode now. They only just recently dropped a story trailer, and have you signing up for a beta happening sometime soon, but that’s only the beginning. The biggest reveal yet seems to be happening this Tuesday.
This Tuesday, January 24th at 2 pm central time there will be a Injustice 2 “Watchtower” live stream, where it’s promised there will be a lot more info about the game revealed. I doubt we’ll be getting lots more details on the story, but maybe more information on single and multi-player game modes, some more roster reveals (there’s still a whopping 20 characters to be unveiled on the official website though some of the characters in the story trailer aren’t in there) and of course seeing some of the more recently revealed characters in action. No word on how long the live stream will be, but I’m guessing anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes, depending of course on how much they want to show with several months to go before the release of the game.

I’m honestly not sure how much I want NetherRealm Studios to reveal during this livestream. I mean, it’d be good to know everything well ahead of time, but the sort of drip feed of info they have been doing thus far has been great at building hype for the game and as I said we’ve still got a bit of a ways to go before the game comes out. Some huge games are coming out in the next two months though (Horizon: Zero Dawn, Legend Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, & Mass Effect: Andromeda just to name a few) so it might be good to do this, and go radio silent til like April so they can have most of the attention to themselves. Injustice 2 is due out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & mobile platforms May 16th.
