DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2, Episode 10 Synopsis: “The Legion Of Doom”

This week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the team makes a plan to rescue Rip, which first involves finding the Spear of Destiny’s lost pieces.

Last week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s “Raiders of the Lost Art,” the Legends finally located Rip, but he wasn’t really “whole.” Their former fearless leader was a completely different person—mind-wise. As the team scrambled to restore who he was, the Legion of Doom (definitely not Sara’s idea for a name) was on a mission to find the Spear of Destiny.

When Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn set foot in 1967 Los Angeles, their activities created a time aberration. This allowed the Legends to find Rip. The team got to him just in time, right when Damien and Malcolm were about to take him.

The Legends quickly learn that Rip has no recollection of who he was. Making matters worse, the confrontation between our heroes and the villains freaked out a young George Lucas so much that he gave up filmmaking. This created another aberration—one in which Ray and Nate are never motivated by Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark to go into their professions.

The Legends now had a mission to both restore Rip’s memories and restore the timeline by inspiring Lucas. In the end, the team was able to put Lucas on his destined path of becoming a director, and acquire the Spear of Destiny and Medallion. However, Rip was abducted by the Legion of Doom, who planned to torture him for information about the Spear.

This week, the Legends are on a mission to save Rip, but they have to find the Spear first. And both Damien and Malcolm are catching on to Eobard’s game. Here’s the official synopsis:

“The Legion of Doom”

"TAKING RISKS — The Legends are determined to find and rescue Rip (Arthur Darvill), but first must focus on locating the Spear of Destiny. Stein (Victor Garber) thinks he has the perfect person to help but knows involving her will be risky. Meanwhile, Malcom Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) realize that Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher) is pitting them against each other."
