A preview of Harley Quinn #13, the finale of “Harley Loves Joker”

There’s no question that Joker was bad news for Harley Quinn. He may have “created” her, but he didn’t love her. He was severely mentally, physically and emotionally abusive to her. Still, Harley often dreamed that the two of them could settle down and have a nice life together. Maybe even kids.

Harley did finally seem to really snap out of whatever hold Joker had on her awhile ago, and showing it by beating the crap out of him and saying that if he never came near her again, she would “finish yer alabaster ass for good”.

And since then, Joker “died” near the end of the New 52 era, and as Rebirth wasn’t a complete reboot of the DC Universe, a lot of the world, including Harley Quinn, thought Joker was still dead. That is until he showed up on her doorstep, claiming he was a changed man and wanted another chance.

It’s a nice flip of the script that it’s Joker dreaming about a happy settled-down future together. But does that mean he’s really a changed man? And we know what Harley Quinn doesn’t, is that there are 3 Jokers, and that hasn’t really been addressed in the DC Universe as of yet. Which one might he be? Will we even know?
