The Flash Season 3, Episode 15 Synopsis: “The Wrath Of Savitar”

This week on The Flash, Wally starts to get visions of Savitar.

Last week on The Flash‘s “Attack on Central City” episode, Gorilla Grodd and his army of super-intelligent gorillas traveled to Earth-1, executing their plan to destroy Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco tried to enlist Gypsy’s help.

Like Supergirl, The Flash was a bit late on the Valentine’s Day festivities and tried to make up for it with this episode. However, unlike Supergirl (luckily), The Flash only made note of it with a few humorous scenes at the beginning.

As HR decorates the Speed Lab for Friends Day (Earth-19’s version of Valentine’s Day), Earth-2’s Harry insults his counterpart. Yes, it was another day at STAR Labs … but it wasn’t. In comes Gypsy, attacking everyone in sight. However, Harry quickly puts a stop to it with his stun rifle.

The team soon learns that Grodd was controlling Gypsy. The murderous Gorilla and his army are now in Central City, ready to attack. Grodd has actually mind-controlled a high-ranking general who has access to nuclear weapons. Cisco asks Gypsy to stay and help, but she didn’t want to get involved.

As Team Flash sees an inevitable face-off with Grodd and his army, Cisco makes a last ditch effort and opens a portal to Earth-19. He’s finally able to convince Gypsy to help him bring Solivar to Earth-1, where the former leader of the Gorillas challenges Grodd to a fight. Solivar wins and agrees to spare Grodd’s life. The psionic Gorilla will now remain on Earth-1 and imprisoned by Argus.

Later, Wally and Jesse spend a date night watching television. When Jesse gets a craving for Big Belly Burger, the chivalrous Wally speeds off to make his new girlfriend happy. However, he’s quickly intercepted by Savitar. This week, Wally will continue to have visions of the God of Speed. Here’s the official synopsis from The CW:

“The Wrath of Savitar”

"SAVITAR VISITS WALLY – While training with Barry (Grant Gustin), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts to have visions of Savitar, which he hides from the team. A dangerous secret threatens Barry and Iris’ (Candice Patton) happiness."
