Since 2015, Marvel Future Fight has allowed players to build up their characters as well as beat the snot out of each other with abandon. While no one will mistake it for Capcom vs Marvel, the game is a fun way to kill time and does have some passionate fans that look forward to each and every update,
Speaking of updates, Netmarble Games, the studio behind Marvel Future Fight, has released the details behind their March update and it should please the many fans of the game.
Released on Wednesday, the update includes a new Character Growth System, improvements to the Timeline Battle Mode and various User Interface tweeks which will make players very happy.
And while that is all well and good, that’s not the type of news that gets fans excited.
No, what gets fans excited is new characters and costumes for players to use.
As for characters, players will now be able to play as Ghost Rider (the Robbie Reyes version), Hellcat and Kid Kaiju from the recent Monsters Unleashed super-mega crossover event.
In addition, March’s update will also include five new uniforms, four of which are inspired by the various Marvel Netflix series. These will include costumes for Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Punisher and Elektra as well as a new uniform for the Inhuman Karnak inspired by his All-New, All Different Marvel series.
Marvel Games Creative Director Bill Rosemann sure sounds like he’s pretty excited about all the new content in the March update.
"“From our current and upcoming TV series to today’s huge comic book event, we’re bringing Marvel’s greatest and hottest characters to the players that crave them. If you want to play as new stars inspired by Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2, Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s Iron Fist, or Monsters Unleashed you can experience them all in MARVEL Future Fight!”"
All in all, lots of new content for fans of the game that should keep players busy defending the universe for weeks to come.
Marvel Future Fight is a free download available for Android and Apple devices now.
