Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2: James Gunn’s “Guardians Inferno” Released

Listen to “Guardians Inferno,” a track from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’s soundtrack.

More from Movies

One of the things audiences remembered most about Guardians of the Galaxy was its soundtrack composed of classic tunes. And from all the trailers we’ve seen, along with the soundtrack list that was recently released, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be just as memorable.

One track that stood out among the rest (trust me, it takes a lot to take attention away from Fleetwood Mac) was “Guardians Inferno”—a song written by director James Gunn, composed by Tyler Bates, and featuring David Hasselhoff. Yes, you read that correctly, the Hoff is lending his pipes to this tune.

And if you’re wondering what this song will sound like, you can stop wondering and start listening. “Guardians Inferno” has been released and it sounds … well … just as wacky as the movie—in a very good way. You can also sing along because Gunn tweeted out the lyrics (which he lovingly crafted on his phone in his car ride home).

First impressions are probably, “Man, this is really bad.” But you know that this was totally done tongue-in-cheek. The song blatantly fits in with the universe and colorful characters Gunn created. Check it out and let us know what you think.
