Actress Zoe Saldana may have accidentally revealed the title for Avengers 4.

Avengers: Infinity War has already begun production, but it’s pretty much shrouded in secrecy. Fans have an idea of the players, but a confirmed cast list hasn’t been announced. On top of that, even Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is being cryptic about the plot.

Oh sure, we’ve seen some behind-the-scenes photos here and there. And cast members from other Marvel Cinematic Universe properties (like Chris Pratt of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise) have chimed in on how their own characters will react to the Avengers. However, most of Avengers: Infinity War is a big unknown—much like Thanos’s existence in the majority of Phase One.

So, it’s definitely not a surprise that Avengers 4‘s title is something only privy to key MCU insiders. That’s all about to change because one of those privileged few may have let something slip out. In an interview promoting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, actress Zoe Saldana accidentally revealed the subtitle for Avengers 4. And BBC News correspondent Lizo Mzimba has posted that video to his Twitter feed:

“Gauntlet,” huh? As in “Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet”—making the name reflect the title of the source material? This subtitle reveal gives more hints as to how Infinity War will play out.

If “Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet” is indeed the official title for Avengers 4, that means Infinity War could draw from the “Thanos Quest” storyline—and much of the film will deal with our heroes trying to stop Thanos from acquiring all the Infinity Stones. Infinity Gauntlet will then have Thanos wield the power of the Gauntlet—destroying half the universe.

If Marvel Studios is actually going down this epic route, could Avengers: Infinity Crusade be in the works? Could we get an introduction of Adam Warlock specifically for that storyline? Hey, all bets are off at this point. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
