This week, Arrow returns from its hiatus, and the team  is on the hunt for Adrian Chase.

Arrow returns this week from its month-long hiatus. With Adrian Chase on the run, Oliver Queen finally has the upper hand. As the pursuit intensifies, Felicity may be turning to the dark side as she trades more of her soul for Helix’s favors.

Adrian Chase, a.k.a. Prometheus, has been one of the most interesting villains since Deathstroke. He set out to break Oliver—and he did it with flying colors. However, the deadly foe discounted the resourcefulness and faith of the Emerald Archer’s team.

Chase had a strong team also—ones bent on revenge. Talia al Ghul wanted Oliver to pay for the killing of her father, and Evelyn Sharp had her own vendetta after discovering that Oliver was previously the Hood—the individual who killed many of her friends.

They broke Oliver and made him realize that he enjoyed killing. With this simple confession, Oliver couldn’t continue being the Green Arrow and sent the team on their separate ways (“Disbanded“). But John Diggle and Felicity Smoak would hear none of that.

Felicity would soon make a deal with Helix and find a technological solution to proving Prometheus’s true identity. As news of his murderous exploits were broadcast, Adrian went on the run.

This week, Team Arrow will be back to full form, laser-focused on catching the man who almost destroyed Star City’s protectors. However, the desperation of catching Adrian, may lead Felicity down a dark path, something that she may never come back from. Here’s the official synopsis from The CW:

“Dangerous Liaisons”

"THE SEARCH FOR CHASE INTENSIFIES — Oliver (Stephen Amell), Team Arrow, ARGUS and the SCPD kick off a citywide manhunt for Adrian Chase (Josh Segurra). Helix tells Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) they have a way to find Chase but they will need something big, and illegal, from her in return."
