Like every Marvel Cinematic Universe property, the first official trailer for The Defenders has been racking up some massive views—and stellar feedback. It’s got action, humor, and some good old superhero conflict. Yep, it’s the classic mindset of “We really hate each other, but we hate the bad guy even more … let’s just be friends and team up.”

You have Misty Knight interrogating Jessica Jones–with Matt Murdock soon arriving and self-appointing himself as Jessica’s lawyer. Soon, we see Luke Cage and future best friend Danny Rand fighting it out. All of this is wrapped up with a fitting narration from Stick, who finally tells all of them to get their s— together. Classic Stick—cuts right to the chase. And he also sounds a lot like Nick Fury when he was assembling the Avengers.

The trailer does its job in getting fans excited for the small-screen team up of Marvel’s more grounded heroes. So far, audiences are only aware that the Defenders have combined to go up against the Hand. Sigourney Weaver’s character, slated to be the miniseries’ big-bad, is currently a mystery. But showrunner Marco Ramirez promises that she will be a very formidable villain.
