The Star-Spangled Avenger’s third film may have a bit of an “Avengers” vibe to it, but directors Joe and Anthony Russo and scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely pull off the balancing act with ease.
The creative team force the heroes (and audiences) to confront the massive amount of collateral damage that gets caused by these larger than life battles. As a result, they create some genuine, human drama that reveals new layers of these characters. The action hits the mark as well, and we get one of the greatest action sequences ever featured in a comic book film.
