We’re quickly approaching Justice League‘s release date of November 17, 2017, and that means teasers and images will be coming at us faster than the Scarlet Speedster. Speaking of which, Entertainment Weekly has released a brand new image showing the Flash joining forces with Batman and Wonder Woman.
The photo is cryptic in that we’re really unsure what the team is facing. The expressions of each member range from concern to awe. Could this be Superman making his first appearance since his death in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)? Or is our team meeting Darkseid’s Parademon forces?

In addition to the image, Entertainment Weekly also caught up (pun intended) with Ezra Miller (who plays Barry Allen / The Flash) and got his thoughts on embodying the iconic hero:
"He’s this really endearing, altruistic nerd … He’s the 13-year-old Metallica fan, and Metallica says, “We lost our drummer in a freak accident. We need you to play drums, bro!” I don’t even have drumsticks!"
Yep, that pretty much sums up the character of Barry Allen — an enthusiastic, optimistic hero who’s pretty much a fanboy at heart.
What do you think the trio is facing? Is it the return of Superman? Or is it the “cosmic threat” that’s constantly being alluded to in the well-guarded plot? Let us know in the comments.
