If you’re one of those people who needs a frequent dose of Marvel-related memorabilia, look no further than Jada Toys. The famous toy company has had a very successful run with their past Marvel-themed offerings from their Metals Die Cast line: “Spider-Man,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulkbuster,” “Doctor Strange,” and “Captain America: Civil War.”

Now, Jada Toys introduces their newest concoction: Nano Metalfigs. Tiny die-cast figures of your favorite Marvel characters. Like the “DC Comics” line, the “Avengers” Nano Metalfigs will also have a diorama display cases modeled after famous scenes — so your figures will always have a home.

Bam Smack Pow caught up with Jada Toys at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 where the company gave us a quick rundown of their newest products. Today, we have an exclusive unboxing and review of their “Avengers” Nano Metalfigs.

Nano Metalfigs: “Avengers” 10-Pack Packaging

The outer box contains the famous “Avengers” logo and lists out all the characters included in the 10-pack. One thing that should be noted is the “Exclusive” label. Black Panther, Thor, Ultron, Ant-Man, Falcon, and Loki are all considered exclusive figures for this 10-pack.

The back of the box shows the remaining figures found in Jada Toys’ Nano Metalfigs “Marvel” line of offerings. Opening the box, collectors will find all the figures housed in a molded plastic tray. It’s just a matter of popping the figures out of this thin plastic shell.

The Heroes

For the heroes, we have Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Thor, Black Widow, Falcon, Iron Man in his Hulkbuster armor, and Ant-Man. Each one sports a colorful paint job that brings out the uniqueness of each character.

Two of the most standout figures in this package are the Hulkbuster armor and Thor. As noted before, this has to do with the paint job. The Hulkbuster armor is given a red metallic sheen which is paired nicely with the suit’s gold accents. Thor’s cape, metal adornments, and pose give the figure a bit of perceived motion.

Overall, every hero is well-designed — considering their minuscule size. Though some details have to be omitted, the essence of each character has been retained.

The Villains

The villains seem to be outnumbered in this package. Then again, the theme of this 10-pack is “Avengers,” so that’s understandable. Both Loki and Ultron are well-sculpted and the paint enhances the characters’ features.

Usually, with such small figurines, the paint will seem haphazardly applied — but not here. The reds on Ultron are accurately placed, and Loki’s green and gold scheme perfectly match what’s seen in the comics.

Jada Toys Nano Metalfigs are a fun way to show off your Marvel interests. Being small, they’re also great for places where real estate is at a premium. However, the most attractive feature is the price. With each figure costing less than a dollar, they’re a very small (pun intended) investment for any avid collector.

As Jada Toys’ Metals line grows, we’re excited to see what they’ll be offering next. For now, our goal is to try and complete the whole set of “Marvel” Nano Metalfigs. And it won’t be hard, as the price is virtually guilt-free!
