It looks like Captain Marvel will be showing up in Avengers 4!

Avengers: Infinity War and the Untitled Avengers Sequel promise to bring together a massive amount of MCU heroes. However, Captain Marvel’s status was uncertain, as it had been confirmed that the character would not be featured in Infinity War. Well, it appears that while she won’t feature in the first film she will have a role in the second.

A tweet from the Atlanta Filming Twitter account confirmed that Brie Larson has arrived on the set of the Untitled Avengers Sequel (Avengers 4). According to the tweet, Captain America star Chris Evans is also present:

While it’s good to finally have confirmation of Larson’s involvment, it’s honestly not very surprising. As mentioned, the two movies will feature just about every big-screen hero in the MCU, and not including her would have been odd.

Now, the only question is: How does Captain Marvel come into the picture? With her solo film set in the early 1990s, how will she be brought into this present day story? One also has to wonder where she’s been all this time or if she will have aged at all.

Some have already speculated that she might be lost in a black hole and may not have aged as a result. Others believe that she’s just been in hiding and not aging could be a side effect of her cosmic abilities. Regardless of how it happens, it will be interesting to see how she enters the Avengers’ war against Thanos.
