Marvel is having a massive kindle comics sale on Amazon
By Jason Hall
They’ve done it before and now they’re finally doing it again. Marvel and Amazon are having a massive sale.
Back in June of this year, Marvel and Amazon dropped the prices of all their digital comics to huge discounted prices. There was really no reason given and no deadline for the amazing deals. There have been many fears that the digital market might be a killer to the paper issue comics market. With prices this low, that might actually happen, but this new sale is temporary just like the last one.
There are many classic Marvel stories that you can pick up for less than $4. There are even some bigger crossover events that you can get for under $8.
You can the wide spectrum of deals by just searching for Marvel Kindle on Amazon or just search out your favorite storylines from years gone by. My first grab was the Daredevil: Born Again storyline which looks to be the basis for the next season of the Daredevil television series. This morning I spotted the massive Infinity crossover from Jonathan Hickman for only $7 dollars. This was one of the biggest Marvel crossovers of the last decade and the physical hardcover would definitely cost you.

Also, if you’re primarily a Marvel movie fan then you can check out the inspiration for two highly anticipated comic book movies. Thor: Ragnarok takes some note from the Unworthy Thor story by Jason Aaron that you can now get for less than $2. Then you could drop less than $4 on the classic X-Men Dark Phoenix story by Chris Claremont to prepare yourself for the X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie coming next year from 20th Century Fox.
I would recommend that this is also a great time to dive into the new Star Wars expanded comic book universe that Marvel has been building. The first volume of the excellent Darth Vader series by Kieron Gillen is now less than $3.

You’ll need a Kindle or at least a kindle app on one of your devices to read all of these. There has been no word on exactly how long this sale will last, but it looks like a great time to be a comic books fan.
