When will Arrow season 6 begin on The CW?
Arrow will return for season 6 on The CW. What day will it premiere?
Arrow will return for season 6. It’s set to follow the events of season 5, which ended on a cliffhanger that left plenty of questions for the season 6 premiere. Most of them surround the fate of every supporting cast member, except Oliver Queen’s son, William.
Adrian Chase captured Team Arrow and brought them to Lian Yu, the island linked to Oliver since the day he washed ashore, after the Queen’s Gambit was sabotaged. He was there for most of the five years of flashbacks and made frequent returns in previous seasons. Chase wanted to play his latest mind game with Oliver there, which turned out to be his last.
As Oliver had Adrian cornered on a boat, the man that called himself Prometheus shot himself in the head. This automatically set off hundreds of planted explosives on Lian Yu, as everyone but Oliver and William was there. The credits hit and it left everyone to wait for four-and-a-half months, until the season 6 premiere.
Given Arrow star Stephen Amell’s comments on the season 6 intro, the fate of those on Lian Yu should be known seconds into the premiere episode. Who will perish? Which Team Arrow members will survive? What about the villains?
Plenty should be in store for the sixth season of Team Arrow’s adventures. Oliver and William will be back, but everyone, at least with episodes not aired, remains in doubt. Spoilers and cast reveals are all over the internet as to who will remain. However, nothing about who is guaranteed to perish on Lian Yu.
