Iron Fist will appear in Luke Cage season 2!

One of the best aspects of Marvel’s The Defenders was getting to see the four street level heroes of the MCU mingle with each other. There were many great character moments, but some of the best was between Luke Cage and Danny Rand. Many fans are hoping to see more of the “Heroes for Hire,” and they’re about to get that wish.

EW has revealed that Finn Jones will guest star as Danny Rand in the upcoming season of Marvel’s Luke Cage. At the moment, it is still unclear just how large of a role Rand will play. Additionally, the trade released an official photo featuring  Mike Colter and Finn Jones as their characters:

Fans – and even casual viewers – could tell from that a significant relationship was being forged between the two, and it will be interesting to see how it grows.

Aside from the fact that they were partners in the comics, it makes absolute sense that Danny would show up. Following The Defenders, all of these characters are now familiar with each other. With that, it makes sense that they would now cross paths more often.

With Danny’s exact role still unclear, fans can only speculate, and the possibilities are endless. Maybe a sector of The Hand is still active in Harlem, or Danny could be helping Luke take down an entirely new threat. Whatever the case, it’s just good to know that these two will be back together again.
