Will Avengers: Infinity War be the last Russo Brothers film with Marvel?

Josh Brolin believes that Avengers 4 could be the last Marvel movie for Joe and Anthony Russo.
Joe and Anthony Russo took on an enormous task when they signed on to helm Avengers: Infinity War and the Untitled Avengers Sequel. But, the two directors appear to be handling the experience well. The films are set to be the culmination of the MCU, but will they also conclude the Russos’ careers at Marvel Studios? Josh Brolin seems to think so.
Brolin recently spoke with Collider on his role as Thanos and working with the Russo Brothers. During the conversation, he also stated his belief that the two could be finished with Marvel after these next two movies:

"“…Also, I think that they’re in a position very openly and raw-ly where they’re like, ‘We would never do this again. This is a one-time deal. To put this many successful actors together is such a pain in the ass, but it’s been worth it. We’re doing two movies. One back to back, and this is it for us. Then we’ll go off in another direction,’ but this is a very, very, very ambitious project that I think is going to pay off in a big way.”"
Now, Brolin could mean that the two may not want to do another ensemble project after they’re finished with them. However, he does make an interesting point.
By the time both of these films are completed, the Russo Brothers will have made four films with Marvel Studios. While they have found great success with Marvel, the projects have been draining. In addition to being effects-heavy blockbusters, most of their films have also been large, ensemble productions.
As a result of their success with Marvel, the two filmmakers are also in high demand. Last year, it was reported that the two would produce a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. They’re also set to produce TV adaptations of Quantum and Woody and Deadly Class.
Based on their busy work schedule, they could take a break from the MCU at the very least. It’s honestly tough to think about them departing the franchise. But, on the bright side, we still have at least two more Marvel films from them on the way.
