Avengers 4: Which movies can Marvel follow with?

The next bold move

When Spider-man Homecoming was announced, many fans of the web-slinger and Marvel Studios films were surprised. Previously, the thought of two studios working together to create a film was laughable. It was as though most studios would rather make movies with what they had, out of spite, then cooperate to make something fun for audiences. With Spider-man: Homecoming being the success that it was, I think we can assume it has opened studios up to the idea in the future. Which leads me to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

More from Movies

Picture this: A world in which Fox studios and Marvel studios want to make an obscene amount of money. Hard, right? Then picture this: A world in which Marvel and Fox make an agreement to share character rights, to a degree. Now I’m not a copyright expert, but if they can do it with Sony for Spider-Man, Ithey can do it with Fox for the X-Men.

With a mix of characters, like Magneto, Professor X, Wolverine, Ironman, Captain America and the Hulk, there’s enough material to work with for another 10 years worth of movies (probably more). One more time, picture this: we start with House of M, follow up with Decimation. These two movies will set us up for the merging of worlds and plenty of conflicts.

Next, we travel down the path of Avengers vs X-Men, sure to be a big blockbuster film that will piss many fans off but ultimately bring in many casual fans. Then we end with a two-part Uncanny Avengers movie (not unlike the Avengers movies in 2018 and 2019). Uncanny Avengers would see the X-Men and Avengers finally aligning to take on a greater evil (maybe the Apocalypse twins?).
