Avengers: Infinity War can introduce these 10 characters

8. Nova

In the MCU, as seen from Guardians of the Galaxy, the Nova Corps do exist and have stated to have fought the Kree Empire for thousands of years. However, there does not appear to be or seem to be the existence of the Nova Force.

Like Quasar, Richard Rider’s Nova, was in the conflict of Infinity Gauntlet. With some announcements that Phase Four of the MCU will lean more towards the cosmic, this character will be a good start to be the vehicle to lean more towards that spectrum of Marvel.

The prospect of Nova appearing within Infinity War is not likely at least at this point in Phase Three as his character would need to be established at least towards the beginning of that particular film, which could still be possible and the Nova Corps will likely have the knowledge to be weary of Thanos as a threat.

It would also make sense that the intergalactic peacekeeping force would send one of their most trusted agents to assist the Guardians of the Galaxy deal with the universal threat that is Thanos other than risk the entire force.

Rider would need to be an experienced adventurer at this point, though, to help with the cause.
