1. Best: Deathstroke

This one is a no-brainer. Deathstroke is easily one of the best and most bad-ass villains the Arrowverse has ever seen. After the conclusion of the second season, we didn’t really see much of him until he was pulled back into the mix for the epic Season 5 finale that took place on Lian Yu. Following the explosive season finale, we see Slade Wilson following up with Oliver and the two characters have become allies once again.

In Episodes 5 and 6, titled “Deathstroke Returns” and “Promises Kept”, we see Slade return to Star City to ask Oliver to help him find his missing son. The two-part episode saw Oliver taking the role of the politician rather than the Green Arrow, which gave Deathstroke the full spotlight to kick some ass. Throughout the two-part episode, we see Slade slowly losing his cool and letting ‘the monster’ out. In potentially the best scene featuring Deathstroke we’ve ever seen on Arrow, Deathstroke completely loses it and goes to town on some mercenaries. On top of all this, we also get to see some truly riveting scene featuring Slade and his son, Joe, the leader of the Jackals.
