1. The Incredibles

Without a doubt, my all-time favorite movie that Pixar has ever made. Director Brad Bird, who you’ll know from The Iron Giant and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, has told a wonderful and heartfelt story about family, maturity, retirement and heroism. This movie is almost like Watchmen for kids, where superheroes in the 40’s-50’s are banned from society for being too reckless and then years later must face a brilliant mastermind with a doomsday plan to change the world. The animated film contains a lot of creative and fun action set pieces, as well as hilarious moments from one of my favorite characters Edna Mode, who claims that wearing capes, are the greatest adversary of all superheroes.
