Wonder Woman 2: 6 other actresses we’d like to see play Cheetah

6. Gina Carano

Kicking off the list is an actress who is still a fresh face in Hollywood. The former MMA fighter made her acting debut in the 2009 action film Blood and Bone. A couple of years later Carano would star in Steven Soderbergh’s Indy action flick Haywire. Alongside a star-studded cast thy included Channing Tatum, Michel Fassbender, Michael Douglas, and Antonio Banderas Carano held her own. The former champ went to co-star in yet action film, this time it was a big budget Hollywood blockbuster alongside Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel in Fast & Furious 6.

Carano’s resume is thin and she’s still searching for that breakout role. In fact, if you had polled fans, a number of them would have had Carano in their Top 10 list to play Wonder Woman. While that didn’t happen, having her join the DCEU under Jenkins’ guide as a complex villain could do wonders for her. With her ability to bring a realism to action scenes along with her intimidating presence, Carano would be perfect to play kickass villain like Cheetah.
