1. Captain America

The death of Captain American is something that has been talked about for years. It had everything to do with the 2007 story, The Death of Captain America. While the tragedy took place during Civil War after he was taken by S.H.I.E.L.D and ordered to be assassinated by Red Skull. With Civil War over, and Red Skull permanently dead, this won’t exactly play out how it did in the comics.

Still, Captain America must die and it’s time for Marvel to usher in a new group of heroes. Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther is the perfect parallel to Evan’s Captain America, a prideful hero who represents the essence of his country. In this case it’s Wakanda but we’ll see Black Panther fight the good fight in America. There’s a time for change and even Chris Evans himself understands that change is imminent. When speaking to USA Today back in April of 2017 Evans spoke about the potential end of his character.

"“I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be hard for me,” says Evans. “But the passing of time and the passing of torches is part of the experience. Nothing lasts forever. There’s a beauty in that departure, even if it can be sad at times. It’s also joyful.”"

Evans, realization is a perspective fans should share. Fans may be holding out hope that Evans may return for Avengers 4. But, since we have no guarantees we’re just gonna say this may be the last time Evans wields the shield. However it won’t be the last time we see Captain America.

Of course, this is merely just speculation but all the signs point to more than one hero dying — they are going against a being who worships the Mistress of Death.
