1. Thor

The son of Odin, the God of Thunder and ruler of Asgard. He’s arguably the strongest member of the Avengers in the comics and in the MCU. Chris Hemsworth plays Thor in the MCU and with this battle against Thanos, he’s sure to prove why he’s one the strongest. To say Thor is superhuman is a slap in the face since he’s purely a God. The war hammer Uru hammer Mjolnir is powerful in its own right and can only be wielded by those who are “worthy.”  As matter of fact, according to Comicbook.com Stan Lee

"“I would have to say, Thor, because as strong as Hulk is, he’s still mortal. Thor is one of the Norse gods.”"

With those words and the fact that Hulk was only able to beat a hammer-less Thor — the God of Asgard takes home the title of the strongest character in Avengers Infinity War.

There are a number of heroes who possess intangible strengths and prowess that make them heroes in their own right. Unfortunately for heroes like Falcon, Ironman, War Machine, and Black Widow they don’t compare to the others on the list. Even Scarlet Witch, who has extraordinary mutant abilities that allow her to manipulate probability and warp reality doesn’t hold a candle to the heroes on this list. For sure these heroes will display great feats as they prepare for the greatest battle they ever had to face in the MCU in Avengers: Infinity War.
