 6. Jubilee

Jubilee was Wolverine’s unofficial sidekick for a short period of time before she eventually joined the X-Men group. She meets a Wolverine who is psychologically and emotionally damming place. They first meet when the X-Men encounter this mutant-hating cyborg group calling themselves the Reavers. Jubilee risks her life and rescues a battered Logan who she nursed back to health. When he regained consciousness, he tried but failed to attack an unsuspecting Jubilee who was able to defend herself using her powers.

After their brief altercation, they teamed up and escape the Reavers capture. On the run from the Hell Fire club, a battered Logan and Jubilee formed a bond during their time in Sydney. During their voyage, Jubilee was kidnapped and told of Wolverine’s death, it would be her rage and anger over the news that would allow her to escape her captors.

From there, after being reunited with Wolverine, Jubilee would later join the X-Men ending her run as a sidekick. The 1990s animated series, X-Men featured Jubilee as one of its main characters. And the first live-action depiction of the character was in X-Men: Apocalypse played by Lana Condor.
