Letterer: VC’s Joe Caramagna

Venomized #4 gives us a better look at what all Kid Kaiju can do. He can create any monster that he wants, whenever he wants. That ability is more than helpful in the present situation. Prime Earth is under attack by the Poisons and it’s a life or death situation.

More from Spider-Man

According to Venom, once the Poisons take over, the host is essentially dead. He explains this to Scott since he barrels in and says he has a connection with Jean Gray still. It’s a little heartbreaking to see how adamant Scott is about Jean still being alive.

The Poisons apparently have Thanos up their sleeve and he makes a grand entrance in this issue. After crashing the plane the heroes are in, he’s standing across from Anti-Venom. Just as he’s getting ready to grab Thanos, he gets blasted by him instead.

Scragg shows up with some friends at the very end of the issue and that scene will lead us into the finale for this showdown. With Thanos around, though, that changes a lot. It’s also some nice timing for them to bring him into the fold with Avengers: Infinity War coming out this week.

While I’m still not totally sure how this is going to affect Prime Earth overall, it’s been a decent read. If anything, it’s just nice to see a bunch of these heroes interacting with each other since we don’t typically see them all together like this.
