Spider-Man: Homecoming review: How does it impact Infinity War?

How will it impact Infinity War?
Demonstrating how Peter will interact with other Avengers
The main thing that Spider-Man: Homecoming demonstrates is how Peter will interact with the other Avengers. Due to Iron Man’s involvement in the movie, it’s clear that the two will continue to share a bond. Essentially, Homecoming is Peter’s chance to prove to Stark that he’s good enough to join the Avengers.
When Stark offers him the chance to join at the end of the film, Peter rejects the opportunity. This is a big moment for the character and a very mature decision. Stark is surprised, but he respects the young hero’s choice. Clearly, their relationship has evolved as Stark has gained more respect for Peter.
It’ll also be interesting to see how Spidey interacts with the Avengers he met in Civil War. He certainly made an impression on Captain America and the others all saw what he’s capable of.
Iron Spider
Perhaps the biggest impact Homecoming will have will be the full introduction of the Iron Spider costume. We’re given a glimpse of the costume when Stark offers it to Peter for joining the Avengers. But after his decision to remain a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, we know he doesn’t take the suit.

However, trailers for Infinity War reveal that Peter will indeed don the Iron Spider costume in the team-up. It’ll be interesting to see the suit in action as his original Stark suit had an impressive array of gadgets. Surely, the upgrade will have even more.
In summary, Spider-Man: Homecoming is a triumph. Marvel’s influence over the web-slinger has allowed Sony to produce the perfect screen adaptation of the character. It was unprecedented for two studios to come together in the way they have. But thankfully, this combination was a marriage made in heaven. If, for some reason, you haven’t seen it yet, check out Spider-Man: Homecoming before you see Infinity War.
